Our Place

Located just east of beautiful Colorado Springs, we keep our training facility small so that we can give each horse the attention they need. Located on 35 acres of rolling grassland, we have several pastures that we like to turn the horses out on during the day to run, interact and just be a horse. Also, there are many working ranches in our area that Steve and Debbie will take the horses to whenever possible. Steve believes getting them out of the arena and into a real working environment makes a calmer happier horse.

Our Barn with Turnouts

We have recently built a new 7 horse barn that has high ceilings which makes the barn feel large and airy. It is also insulated to keep it warmer in the winter and cool in the summer. It is well lite with LED lights that are enclosed for fire safety.

Comfortable Stalls

Each stall is 12' X 12' with heated automatic waterers so that each horse has clean fresh water on demand. Rubber mats on the floor and in the corner hay bunkers. We clean our stalls twice a day when the horses are stalled inside due to bad weather and once a day when they can be in their turnout pens.

Two Riding Arenas

We have two riding arenas, one is a large arena that is 300 feet long by 159 feet wide that we use to train the horses for reining and working cow horse. Our smaller arena is used for trail training and where we have our mechanical cow set up to teach the horse how to move correctly on a cow. Both arenas have great footing that is sandy and kept consistent by our arena conditioner.

Large Pastures

We also have several pastures that we use to turnout the horses so that they have room to run, socialize, munch on natural grass and just be a horse. Our other pastures are used to keep our cows that we use to train our horses on.
